1999 Grey Andalusian Stallion

Donadio H" is our pure Spanish Andalusian stallion. He is a very nice boy with great movement on him and looks to get around or a little over 16hh when he is done growing. Donadio has been inscribed by the Cria Caballar, Spain and will later go through the approving process. Both parents are approved by Cria Caballar, Spain.
Donadio is by the late beautiful jet black stallion Ascension by Maestro(black) by Dejado(black) out of Granada K (black). Donadio's dam is Gema TG which she is a dark grey but consistent producer of color, she is by Tribuno by Vinatero V (black). Gema is out of Ferianta III by Poseido V.

Donadio was shown at the Eastern Regional Andalusian & Lusitano Horse Show 2000. He came in 2nd (Reserve Champion) in the Pure Spanish Halter Class, judged by Sr. Juan Llamas Perdigo. Donadio was shown at the ERALHS 2001 show this year but came up lame with an abscess in his foot. The judge, Issac Rodriguez Martin of Spain and also the main person of the Cria Caballar, went ahead and scored him. He actually scored very well considering and some nice comments were given to me on him as I was leaving the ring by the judge. So coming from the main guy I considered that a great compliment. But here are some nice pictures of him from the show.

Donadio has also been registered under the Iberian Warmblood Registry of America #Ib071. He is registered as one of the foundation sires. So babies by him will not only be able to be registered half-Andalusian but also the Iberian Warmblood.

His first crop of foals are due next year 2002. It will be interesting to see if color is thrown. He was bred to 2 palominos of different shades, a bay, a sorrel and 2 chestnuts. All are in foal. Donadio looks to be turning a dark grey which will be striking and with his color in his pedigree he stands to produce color.
